Students from Elwood Middle School raised more than $1,000 for United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk through the organization’s annual trivia challenge. All students throughout the school were invited to participate in the 100-question challenge that tested their knowledge on a variety of topics, including capitals, sports, current music and even John F. Kennedy Jr. Students raised money by either seeking a flat donation to participate or by pursuing pledges based on the number of correct answers they solved in the challenge. To date, the school has raised more than $50,000 in the many years it has participated in this cause. Congratulations to the winning team of students: Sam Katz, Emma Koster, Siobhan McPherson and Kate Zenobio.
