To celebrate Earth Day, students at Harley Avenue Primary School performed various songs focused on the theme of protecting and respecting the environment for friends and family on April 22.

Under the direction of music teacher Christina Long, students sang “It’s a Small World,” by the Sherman Brothers, “My Earth” by Teresa Jennings, “Pollution” by Judy Stoehr and more.

During the concert, students used signs, bells and recyclable objects to accompany their songs. In addition, students recited an Earth Day poem written by second-grade teacher Martha DeMartini throughout the performance.
