Last May, a select group of students in Mrs. McLeod’s fifth-grade class at James H. Boyd Intermediate School assumed the roles of Newsday kid reporters and interviewed New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Students Brendan Greenwood, Joseph LaCorte, Grace Porter and Isabella Ross traveled to the New York Giants training facility where they conducted the interview.

The interview and news story were featured in Newsday’s Kidsday on Oct. 13.
