The district’s youngest students celebrated the holiday season by participating in a myriad of traditional school-wide festivities on Oct. 30.

The day’s activities kicked off at 8:30 a.m., when members of the community gathered to watch students at James H. Boyd Intermediate School parade outside on the field in their Halloween costumes. At 10:15 a.m., students at Harley Avenue Primary School demonstrated their holiday spirit with a costume parade followed by a morning of fun fall activities at the PTA-sponsored Harley Harvest Festival. At the end of the festival, students brought home personally decorated pumpkins they selected from the Harley pumpkin patch and other crafts they made during the day.
