The district proudly congratulates six Elwood-John H. Glenn High School student-athletes on signing National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Parents, coaches and district administrators gathered to honor the students’ dedication and commitment and to celebrate their accomplishments.
“Earning an athletic scholarship is very difficult and deserves to be recognized by our school and community,” said Elwood-John H. Glenn High School teacher and varsity football coach Dave Shanahan.
The students recognized were: Tyler Arella, Villanova University, baseball; Amelia Biancardi, Binghamton University, lacrosse; Chris Forsberg, Bryant University, lacrosse; Nora Miller, Molloy College, lacrosse; Victoria Tsangaris, University of Albany, lacrosse; and Wayne White, Stony Brook University, lacrosse.
