Students in Liz Held and Beth Noon’s third-grade classes at James H. Boyd Intermediate School used their five senses to complete various cranberry-based activities on Nov. 23. Students rotated through six stations, where they participated in science, reading and math-related hands-on activities such as measuring, counting, finding the volume, examining the inside of a cranberry and bounce test for freshness. At one station, students tasted a cranberry, drank cranberry juice and tried cranberry jam and Jell-O.
