Fifth-grade students in Chris Warren’s art classes at James H. Boyd Intermediate School learned about optical color mixing and its relationship to pointillism. Using this knowledge, the students worked collaboratively to recreate George Seurat’s “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte.” The entire painting is made of red, blue and yellow dots and is displayed on the wall in their school.
