Congratulations to the talented Elwood-John H. Glenn High School cast and crew on their sensational production of “Working, the Musical,” performed on March 4 and 5.

“Working, the Musical” is based on Studs Turkle’s book “Working,” published in 1974. The story documents real-life working class citizens of different regions and occupations, shedding light on the importance of the day-to-day life and skills of the American worker. The on-stage production featured music by James Taylor, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephen Schwartz and more. Throughout the show, audience members enjoyed a variety of artistic genres including drama and comedy, along with songs and dance in this musical production.

“The students in the play did a wonderful job bringing the characters of the show to life,” said director Maria Aiello. “I am so proud of all their hard work and dedication throughout the last few months. Overall, the show was a tremendous success, thanks to all the students involved, in the pit, crew and cast, as well as the production staff.”
