Over 70 students, families and faculty members from Elwood-John H. Glenn High School gathered for a fun evening of fashion at the school’s 2017 Fashion Show on Feb. 8. Both students and faculty members participated in the show. The annual fundraiser allowed the junior and senior classes to raise money with all the proceeds split between the two grades.
The student council and student volunteers helped put together the event with the help of senior class advisor Nicole Gendjoian and junior class advisors Adrienne Nasser and Carolyn Pollina.
Students were able to get food donations from local restaurants such as Chef’s, Dix Hills Diner, Mozarella’s, and Viajos and over 30 raffle baskets were donated from local businesses. Students and faculty members modeled Spring Wear and Formal Wear from Graffiti, Ooh La La Boutique, Francine’s Fashion Boutique and Lester’s Tuxedo.
