Congratulations to four Elwood-John H. Glenn High School students who were recently recognized at the Suffolk County Boys Basketball Awards!

Senior Greg Thornhill was named All-League, All-Conference, and one of only 10 boys chosen for All-County. In addition, senior Michael Aufiero was honored with the All-Academic Award, freshman Josh Fenner was named Rookie of the Year for all of League VI and senior Matt Tufano was recognized with the All-League Award. Coach Rogener showed his support by standing by their side during the ceremony.

“We are really proud of the season that these student-athletes have had,” said Director of Athletics and Physical Education David Shanahan. “They have positivity represented our community and I know their coach and the whole John Glenn community could not be happier for them.”
