The Elwood-John H. Glenn High School Mock Trial team and the Elwood Middle School Life Skills class recently did their part to help the environment by recycling cans to support the Mock Trial team’s philanthropy CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children). The high school students worked with the middle school students, helping them recycle at the Stop and Shop Recycling Center, as well as helping them interact with the cashier and customer service clerk. In addition, the high school students also assisted in ordering lunch at Panera, paying for the food, counting out change and showing proper etiquette.

“They had a wonderful time and both groups ended the day with a fulfilling experience,” said Mock Trial Team Advisor Megan Gieser.
