Students from Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s National Honor Society collected more than $300 to benefit two ill boys in their community.

From March 16-30, Make-A-Wish Suffolk County launched their Coins for Wishes campaign, sponsored by TD Bank. Schools across Suffolk County were asked to raise money to grant the wishes of Jason and Nicholas, who both asked for a trip to Walt Disney World.

With the collaborative efforts of Elwood students and other students from across Suffolk County, the wishes of Nicholas and Jason were granted. Elwood-John H. Glenn High School National Honor Society advisor Diane Locascio, president Diana Bartolotta and member Bridget Leighton had the opportunity to meet 5-year-old wish recipient Jason from Selden.
