Thank you to all residents who participated in the 2011-12 budget vote and trustee election. The budget passed by a vote of 1779 to 1129. We appreciate the support of the Elwood community for deciding to continue to preserve the high value Elwood Education.  We look forward to another year of supporting our students with the full spectrum program that has been traditionally offered.

In addition, we congratulate Mike LaMena and Bill Gutekunst for being elected as trustees to the Board of Education.  We look forward to working with them.  The trustee vote was as follows:

Mike LaMena - 1375 votes
Jack Schwartz - 1113 votes

 
For the seat currently occupied by Michael Kaszubski:
Bill Gutekunst - 1382 votes
James Tomeo - 1227 votes
