Dr. Best-Laimit has received a waiver from January 27, 2014 through June 30, 2014 from the New York State Office of Teaching under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and Section 80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations, to be employed as Interim Principal of Harley Avenue Primary School and is eligible to receive her pension during that time. Her compensation from Elwood for the period of the waiver is $600 per diem.
