elwood11.JPG thumbnail70693
During the district’s Nov. 20 Board of Education meeting, a group of Elwood Middle School students was commended for their collective efforts to reinforce the district’s anti-bullying program and New York State Dignity for All Students Act in their film, “Knights for Good.”

Inspired by the Nobystander.me campaign, the video sends an important message about being a hero in the hallways, encouraging respect for others and standing up for what is right. Middle school guidance counselor Todd Schwartz and technology specialist Martha Hanley worked alongside the team of students and were instrumental in the project’s production.

The district extends its congratulations and gratitude to the following students who went above and beyond to reinforce this important message.
