More than 300 students from Elwood-John H. Glenn High School gathered for the school’s annual Charity Volleyball-a-thon. The event represents one of the largest high school fundraisers of the year, with all proceeds benefiting the Tom Cutinella Scholarship Fund, American Cancer Society Relay for Life and Sean Urda Memorial Soccer Scholarship Fund.

Fifty-three teams battled one another on the volleyball court for the ultimate bragging rights of Volleyball-a-thon champs. In the end, the team that walked away with the title was School Survival Guide, but the true champions were the students who came together and raised a total of $3,699 for the three causes determined by members of the student council.

The district thanks all who participated and donated to this wonderful event.
