Six John H. Glenn High School students have been selected to perform at the NYSCAME All-County Music Festival in November. Out of those students, two have also been selected for the NYSSMA All-State Festival.
The students – Ryan Boody, Ryan Kang, Hannah Kleinman, Melissa Mandel, Rithika Narayan and Eleanor Rees – are recognized as some of the top musicians across Suffolk County. The six musicians will participate in three intensive rehearsals, alongside students across Suffolk County, to prepare for their ensembles’ concerts in November.
Hannah and Melissa, who were also selected for NYSSMA All-State will travel to Rochester from Dec. 5 to Dec. 8 to participate in a weekend of rigorous rehearsals that culminate in a final concert at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.
