Elwood-John H. Glenn High School recently announced its Class of 2024 valedictorian, Christopher Sanelli, and salutatorian, Lauren LaMena. Sanelli, an American Legion Boys State scholarship recipient, and LaMena, a National Merit Semifinalist in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program, boast impressive academic careers. Both seniors were named AP Scholars with Distinction and earned summa cum laude designation for achieving a weighted GPA between 96.50 and 100.

“First, I would like to congratulate Lauren on her amazing accomplishment,” Sanelli said. “Also, I want to thank my family and friends for their continued support.”

“I want to congratulate Chris, as this is an amazing accomplishment for him,” LaMena said. “While I am proud of myself, I recognize that none of this would have been possible without all of the support I have received from my community, teachers and family. I would just like to say a big thank you to them for everything they have done for me.”
