James H. Boyd Intermediate School’s fifth grade band, directed by Samantha McDermott, invited some of the students from Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s Band Leadership Council to march in Boyd’s annual Halloween costume parade on Oct. 31.
“It was such a fun morning,” McDermott said. “The fith graders absolutely loved playing alongside the high school students.”
