Elwood-John H. Glenn High School held its annual National Art Honor Society induction ceremony on April 23, organized by teacher Amy Lindenbaum. The four NAHS officers – President Samantha Williamson, Vice President Brayden Klement, Secretary Nicole Savitsky and Treasurer Abigail Millien – addressed the proud new members and lit the society’s candles, colored red, yellow and blue to reflect primary colors used in art.
“I always look forward to this event, and having the opportunity to honor my most talented and lovely artists,” Lindenbaum said.
Additionally, the school concurrently hosted the annual Festival of the Arts exhibition of student work that same evening, through the hallways and lobby.
