Continuing the commitment to make “Elwood Future Ready,” Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Bossert welcomed back staff to a new year of education at the Elwood School District’s annual Superintendent’s Conference Day on Sept. 1.

Dr. Bossert discussed the importance of the district’s culture, mindset and vision, introduced the district leadership team, noted points of pride and looked forward to ongoing and future initiatives. He also provided his staff with the “Seven Habits of a Highly Effective Elwood Faculty/Staff Member:” keeping the whole child first in mind; having high expectations; striking a balance; creating a welcome environment for all; remembering the “Three R’s” of respect, responsibility and relationships and the “Three C’s” of communication, collaboration and collegiality; and maintaining a great sense of Elwood Pride.
