Elwood-John H. Glenn High School senior Anson Kwan was recently named a National Merit Finalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program, based on his exceptional scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Kwan is now eligible to be considered for one of 7,500 National Merit Scholarships.

“It’s a big honor, and I achieved this as a result of the work of my teachers and my parents who helped support me through this process,” Kwan said.

“Most notable is that Anson was the only student from John H. Glenn to earn this recognition of outstanding achievement,” Principal Carisa Burzynski said. “We congratulate him on this great accomplishment and wish him the best of luck as he pursues all future academic endeavors. He makes John H. Glenn proud!”
